Students in the program receive extra help adjusting to college life from staff members, professors, and fellow students, as well as scholarships and book stipends to help them afford the cost of a quality higher education. Legacy Scholars access academic support through tutors, faculty mentors, study groups, and special research projects. They receive social support from a network of similar students who participate in activities together. As Legacy Scholars prepare for graduation, we provide graduate-school advising and career counseling to help them with their next life transition. 传统的学者 participate in the week-long Legacy Summer Bridge program, where they bond with future classmates and learn strategies for academic success while camping, hiking, and river rafting in Southern Utah. 该 Legacy STEPS cohort is designed to supp要么t underrepresented students who transfer to Westminster from Salt Lake Community College.
